Level 1 uses a standard outlet and charges slowly. Level 2 requires a dedicated circuit and charges significantly faster, which is what most homeowners choose.

Durbin Electric did a great job adding a subpanel to our completely full main panel. They also... installed outdoor outlets for our deck music system, patio TV and two eave outlets for security cameras. (The eave outlets required running wiring all the way from the basement into the attic.) They also added a floor outlet in the living room to eliminate an extension cord running across the floor to our couch. This was done over the finished part of the basement with no drywall work required at all!Very neat installation with minimal disruption in the house. I highly recommend them!read more

I needed a new light switch installed in a basement bedroom. There was nothing convenient for... the electricians to tie into. They figured out a way to make it work, and completed efficiently. The work done looked good, they cleaned up, and they wore protective gear to prevent damage to our floors and carpet. Trey and Trey were very professional and did a great job. Durbin themselves was reasonable... price in today's economy. Had to drop from 5 star to 4 star, as a day after they left I had a different plug-in for sump pimp quit working. I give Durbin credit for making it a priority due to incoming rain. They showed up on time and trouble shot the issue, which turned out to be one of the tandom circuit breakers that they had installed. But yet I was charged a $200.00 service charge for an issue that they causeed under the initial job. Not happy about being charged for something that should have been correct to start with. Contacted office, they where very understanding and took care of the issue. I would recommend Durbin to all my friends.read more

I want to say how amazing these guys are! I have had a breaker down in my basement tripping... almost daily for months. Mike came out and looked at it. This 15 amp breaker was only drawing around 8 amps with everything plugged in. It was warm to the touch so he replaced it for a very reasonable service fee which I thought would cost more. Since then it continued to trip. No matter how many times I contacted them they stand by their work and came back out to trouble shoot and see what was going on.Mike and his team member came out today and it turns out I had an outdoor outlet that was getting some condensation inside and had some rust in it which is crazy since my home is only 6 years old. They cleaned that up and replaced two of my outlets outside along with them separate GFI's from the original breaker that way if they did somehow continue to trip it will not cause the breaker in the house to go.I was amazed at the work they did and this is not something that they installed or caused. You do not find many buisnesses like this today. I will be referring them to all of my family and friends. Thank you Durbin Electric!read more
